Welcome to the official website of Prof. Taskeena Fazil. Professor Taskeena Fazil is a well-known critic and researcher from Srinagr, Kashmir, India. Born on 1st May 1955, Taskeena Fazil completed her graduation from the government college for women in Nawakadal, Srinagar.
She secured a first position in her postgraduate studies with a first division from the University of Kashmir in Urdu litlature. Taskeena Fazil completed her Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Ale Ahmad Suroor.
She was later appointed as a professor at Iqbal institute of culture and philosophy, University of Kashmir. Taskeena Fazil presently lives in Srinagar, Kashmir.
She has authored research books and papers on many prominent literary figures, which include Alama Iqbal, Firaq Gorukh Puri, Akhtarul Imaan, Lala Arifa, and Fazil Kashmiri.
